Integrated Energy Therapy ®

Based on Stevan J. Thayer: Integrated Energy Therapy. Basic Level Guide. The Center Of Being, Inc.,

This technique facilitates the clearing of energy blocks accumulated as a result of deeply suppressed cellular memory.

Eastern medicine has long focused on the body’s electromagnetic field, with energy commonly referred to as Prana, Chi, Tao, or Force.

This energy flows through meridians (energy channels). For various reason, this flow of energy  can encounter obstacles, creating blockages. Possible causes include trauma, illness, surgery, or self-limiting thoughts.

When practicing IET, we work with integration channels designed to restore energy balance.

IMPORTANT! IET does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. It is not intended to replace traditional medical treatments. Instead, IET works on the energy body, supports individuals in their self-healing journey. The goal of IET is to open pathways in the physical and energetic body for the flow of vital energy by releasing/activating energy blocks stored in cellular memory and integrating suppressed emotions.

Activation prepares for cleansing, while during integration, the integrated energy is guided through specific integration points –  where energy flows close to the body’s surface. These points facilitate effective energy work. With gentle pressure to these points, the cleansing process is triggered immediately.

The effects of the treatment last for at least 24 hours and up to a week.

Some emotions that may surface include increased energy and well-being, fatigue, or emotional outbursts as well.

Areas Treated and Related Issues

Crown (Crown Chakra)

This channel connects the human body to the flow of absolute, unconditional divine love. Suppressed guilt is stored here, blocking divine love and the ability to live fully.

Examples of energy blockages:

  • Guilt over something we did or did not do.
  • Misconceptions tied to birth (e.g., parental preference for a different gender).
  • Viewing God as vengeful, leading to self-protective distancing.
  • Guilty acts (e.g., divorce, infidelity, theft, lying).
  • Attachment to the concept of original sin.

During treatment, we first activate the release of guilt and integrate the energy of innocence.

Third Eye:

This is the area where we tend to suppress feelings related to distrust. There is also a point between the two hemispheres of the brain that connects them and stores repressed feelings linked to the imbalance of male and female roles, as well as the associated distrust. Suppressed distrust limits our ability to choose freely, make decisions, and act spontaneously.

Examples of energy blockages:

  • Suffering caused by following intuition.
  • Experiences of betrayal or infidelity.
  • Childhood trauma (e.g., physical or emotional abuse)

Treatment activates the release of distrust and integrates the energy of trust.

Throat and Lungs

This is about the suppression of shame related to self-expression. Self-expression includes verbal communication (e.g., speech), artistic expression (e.g., dance, acting), and spiritual expression (e.g., meditation, prayer, hope). Suppressed shame prevents us from expressing ourselves fully and from understanding what we truly want in life.

Examples of energy blockages:

  • Fear of expressing oneself.
  • Feeling dismissed when expressing oneself.
  • Shame in both self-expression and recognition.

Treatment activates the release of shame and integrates the energy of spiritual pride.

Back of the Neck

This area stores the feelings of threat or attack by others or circumstances, limiting trust and safety in the world.

Examples of energy blockages:

  • Self-defense triggered by perceived fear.
  • Experiencing threats physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
  • Muscle tension.

Treatment activates the release of threats and integrates the energy of support.

Shoulders

This area stores emotions related to „musts,” pressures, or obligations—basically, the things we feel we should do or avoid.

Examples of energy blockages:

  • Growing up in an environment where acceptance is conditional.
  • Sacrificing self-identity for conditional love (dependency).

Treatment activates the release of obligations and integrates the energy of freedom.

Heart

This area stores suppressed heartbreak and betrayal, limiting the ability to give and receive love.

Examples of energy blockages:

  • Rejected love or affection.
  • Loss of love once received.
  • Betrayal.

Treatment activates the release of heartbreak and integrates the energy of love.

Spleen

It’s the area where feelings of repressed anger are stored. This energy bubbles up inside us, which limits our ability to express our joy and happiness.

Examples of energy blockages:

  • Victim mentality.
  • Experiences of emotional or physical abuse.
  • Feelings of weakness.

Treatment activates the release of anger and integrates the energy of forgiveness.

Liver and Gallbladder

Expressed anger and rage are stored here. Suppressing these emotions consumes energy, potentially leading to lethargy and depression.

Examples of energy blockages:

  • Unforgiven events in life.
  • Long-standing grievances.

Treatment activates the release of anger and integrates the energy of forgiveness.

Adrenals and Stomach

This is where feelings of stress and weakness are stored, especially those triggered by dangerous physical or emotional situations that we can’t escape from or fight against. This lowers our overall energy levels and the effectiveness of our immune system.

Examples of energy blockages:

  • Threatening physical or emotional situations.
  • Intimidating circumstances (e.g., political, familial, or business conflicts).
  • Humiliating relationships or families.

Treatment activates the release of stress and helplessness and integrates the energy of ease and flow.

Kidneys

Suppressed fears are stored here, often arising from imagined scenarios perceived as real.

Examples of energy blockages:

  • Unprocessed levels of fear.

Treatment activates the release of fear and integrates the energy of safety.
